V-Link UDI Connector for SAP

The V-Link UDI Connector for SAP automates the extraction of SAP reference and master data for downstream systems. It connects directly to SAP via RFC and delivers data to Microsoft SQL Server or delimited flat files without custom ABAP development.

Built for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, the UDI Connector was originally developed for Kofax KTM, now Tungsten Automation TotalAgility, and is included with Verbella ITC. It also supports other OCR solutions that rely on SAP reference data for validation and matching.

How the UDI Connector Works

The UDI Connector follows a straightforward process to extract SAP reference data and deliver it to downstream systems.

  1. Connect to SAP using RFC

  2. Execute a configured RFC-enabled Function Module

  3. Map fields to the desired SQL columns or file headers

  4. Deliver data to SQL Server tables or delimited files

  5. Schedule recurring runs for unattended execution

Architecture note: The UDI Connector supports both direct SAP application server connections and message server, load-balanced connections.
