OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Consultant / ABAP Developer
We have an immediate opening for an experienced OpenText VIM Consultant / ABAP Developer with a strong background in SAP Accounts Payable automation. This position requires individuals to work independently, interface directly with customers, deliver OpenText VIM implementations and enhancements, and collaborate with other members of our consulting team.
The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience implementing and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), SAP Workflow, ArchiveLink, and related OpenText document management solutions. Candidates should be comfortable gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, developing ABAP enhancements, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.
You’ll work on enterprise SAP automation projects involving OpenText VIM, SAP Workflow, ArchiveLink, document management, and Accounts Payable automation for customers throughout North America.
The candidate must be willing to travel when required (typically less than 10-20%) and work remotely. Outside of PA, full-time 1099 Contractors accepted. Within PA, W-2 employees only. U.S. residents only, please. Part-time work may be considered, although full-time applicants will be preferred.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Design, configure, implement, and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions
- Lead customer design sessions, requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, and go-live support
- Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs, user exits, BADIs, workflows, and integrations supporting VIM
- Configure and support SAP Workflow, ArchiveLink, and OpenText document management solutions
- Support existing Verbella customers through enhancements, troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimization projects
- Participate in customer demonstrations, technical discovery calls, solution scoping, and project planning
- Assist with documentation, knowledge transfer, and customer training as needed
Required Experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
- Must have hands-on experience implementing and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
- Must have completed at least one full lifecycle OpenText VIM implementation
- Must have strong experience with SAP Workflow development and configuration
- Must have at least four years of SAP ABAP development experience
- Must have at least two years of experience with SAP ArchiveLink
- Must have experience working with OpenText Intelligent Capture (ICC) and/or Enterprise Scan solutions
- Must have experience with SAP FI and MM modules, particularly Accounts Payable business processes
- Must have experience with enterprise document management systems utilizing ArchiveLink
- Must be comfortable working directly with customers and independently managing assigned project activities
Nice to Have / Working Knowledge Of
- OpenText Extended ECM or other OpenText Content Management solutions
- SAP Content Server and SAP ILM WebDAV
- PBS ContentLink or other SAP content management platforms

SAP ABAP & BTP Developer / Product Engineer — AI, Document Management & AP Automation
Verbella CMG is seeking a forward‑thinking SAP ABAP & BTP Developer/Consultant to help build the next generation of SAP-integrated automation solutions. This role blends modern SAP development (BTP, UI5, CAP, AI services) with classic ABAP, ArchiveLink/WebDAV, PBS ContentLink, and AP automation. You will work across product development, customer implementations, and intelligent automation initiatives.
This is not a legacy ABAP role — it’s a hybrid cloud + on-prem + AI + workflow engineering position.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
SAP BTP, Cloud & AI Development
- Design and develop SAP BTP applications, including:
- Cloud Foundry apps
- CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) services
- SAP UI5 / Fiori Elements front-end applications
- BTP destination services, OAuth2, and API management
- Build a customer-facing web portal on BTP for SAP document access, workflow, and AP automation.
- Integrate SAP with AI services such as:
- SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad
- SAP Document Information Extraction (DOX)
- Joule / SAP machine learning APIs
- Microsoft Read OCR or ABBYY/Kofax OCR engines
- Develop REST-based integrations between BTP and SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Design and develop SAP BTP applications, including:
ABAP & SAP On-Prem Development
- Develop and maintain ABAP OO solutions, BADIs, enhancement frameworks, ABAP proxies, and web services.
- Build and support ArchiveLink and SAP ILM WebDAV integrations for document management.
- Enhance and maintain Verbella’s internal SAP product suite (AP automation, document workflows, ArchiveLink utilities).
- Work with PBS ContentLink, SAP Content Server, and related document storage platforms.
Product Engineering & Customer Delivery
- Lead technical design sessions, gather requirements, and deliver end-to-end SAP/BTP solutions.
- Manage product development lifecycle for new Verbella offerings (roadmaps, prototypes, releases).
- Support existing customers using SAP-integrated automation tools (UiPath, Kofax, ABBYY, Tungsten Automation).
- Participate in demos, scoping calls, and post-deployment training.
- Produce audit-friendly technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Infrastructure, Servers & Networking
- Work with SAP Content Server, PBS, and related infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers).
- Understand networking fundamentals (firewalls, SSL/TLS, certificates, reverse proxies) for SAP/BTP integrations.
- Assist with troubleshooting connectivity between SAP, BTP, content servers, and external automation platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience (OO, enhancements, BADIs, proxies, web services).
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, including UI5, CAP, destinations, and REST integrations.
- Strong understanding of FI/MM, AP workflows, and document-centric business processes.
- 1+ years of SAP ArchiveLink experience (minimum).
- Experience with SAP ILM WebDAV, content servers, or PBS ContentLink.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and independent work capability.
- Experience handling JSON, HTTP protocols, MIME types, and modern API patterns in ABAP.
Preferred / Bonus Experience
- SAP Workflow development (classic or Flexible Workflow).

Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax) Consultant / Developer
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax) TotalAgility Developer/Consultant with a focus on Accounts Payable automation. This position requires individuals to work independently, interface directly with customers, develop and support enterprise document automation solutions, and collaborate with other members of our consulting team.
The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying TotalAgility solutions, including document classification, extraction, workflow automation, custom integrations, and Export Connectors. Experience with legacy Kofax Capture and KTM environments is beneficial, particularly for customer upgrades and migrations. Candidates should also be comfortable working with Web Services, SQL Server, scanners, and enterprise Document Management Systems.
You’ll work on enterprise automation projects involving TotalAgility, SAP, intelligent document processing (IDP), content management, and AI-powered document automation for customers throughout the world.

Required Experience:
- Must have three years of experience implementing Tungsten TotalAgility solutions. Experience with legacy Kofax Capture (9.x–11.x) and KTM environments is also highly desirable
- Must have at least two years of customer-facing consulting experience delivering TotalAgility and/or legacy Kofax Capture/KTM projects
- Two years of experience in Administration of Imaging environment, Content Management Systems such as OpenText
- Three years of experience to Automate the data and documents extraction methods of OCR, ICR, OMR, and Barcodes
- Must be proficient with .Net, and experience with VB.Net, VB Scripting, C#, Web Services, HTML
- Three years of experience providing technical leadership to customers on the Kofax solutions as configured to the customer’s requirements is Required
- Three years of experience to install, configure & apply service packs on application servers and clients
- Must have experience with a Document Management system.
Nice to have / Working knowledge of:
- Working knowledge of the SAP
- Some experience with ArchiveLink and the SAP ILM WebDAV Interface would be a plus
