Verbella – West Chester, PA: John Walls, President of Verbella introduced this afternoon the V-Link Connector. Verbella understands trends in the SAP Content Management market. After working with hundreds and hundreds of customers, one request that resonated from our customers using MS SharePoint was the ability for SAP to communicate with MS SharePoint via ArchiveLink. This is a known limitation of SharePoint, or at least it was. V-Link comes in 2 basic flavors, “Base” and “Base + Metadata”.
The “Base” version allows SAP to see and to communicate with SharePoint as an ArchiveLink Certified Content Repository.
The “Base + Metadata” version allows metadata from SAP to be passed into a SharePoint Library. This will allow SharePoint users to easily search for and display SAP ArchiveLink documents directly from SharePoint.
